A CERTAIN YOUNG WREN

A certain young "Wren" who liked plumage gay,

Had her hair adorned in a marvellous way,

With a beautiful ribbon of Helio hue –

And although it's a secret I'll tell it to you –

When told to use Black, said she with a sigh,

"It won't keep it up, but, to please you, I'll try."
