G  for the Grime when hot water runs dry,

H  for the Hours slipping silently by,

I  for the Intervals granted for play,

J  for the Joy-rides on Armistice Day'

K for Dame Katharine, Director of "Wrens,

L  for the Laughter we share with our friends,

M  for our Mice of all ages and sizes,

N  for our Notice Board full of surprises;

O  for the Oddities found on each watch,

P  for the Peace Council working with Foch,

Q  for the Questions arising each day,

R  for the Rules that we're bound to obey,

S  for the Service that gave us a call,

T  for our "Tyrant," beloved by us all;
